DGX Spark DGX Dashboard "Update Available"... What's in it?

It is nice to see to see new updates being made available, is there any way you might include some Release Notes or additional information on what will actually updated without hitting the “Update Now” and taking whatever is in it for granted? (pictures or graphics associated with the update would be optional).

Something like that shows even basic information remotely similar to this would be appreciated:

We are planning to improve the update widget to highlight major updates and include release notes in the future. For major release notes you can check the user guide: DGX Spark Release Notes — DGX Spark User Guide

Today I accidentally updated one Spark manually (sudo apt upgrade) and the other with the DGX Dashboard. I’m not panicking but could you explain why Nvidia recommends the DGX Dashboard route to performing updates?

Updating through the DGX Dashboard is a smoother way to update the Spark with less failure modes. Updating through command line has the possibility of users incorrectly running or missing some commands, especially those unfamiliar with the process

Those release notes are from November. I don’t see anything about the new update from this week?

There are operating system updates coming from Ubuntu that show up there as well.

Would be nice to have a place where we can check the latest updates, etc. E.g. take this article:

Okay, that’s good. But what is the update? Where can I see the details?

Ideally, this would be a page on a site, with links to it that are not hard to discover.

Also, some kind of history of past updates - I guess that would be handled by the site, but would also be nice to have in the Dashboard.

@florin.andrei the release notes of DGXOS are at Release Notes — NVIDIA DGX OS 7 User Guide
