DGX Spark - Post ISO .. tarball method doesn't work for me

Please post the DGX Spark ISO. Yes, I have tried the tarball method several times and it hasn’t worked for me. I want a plan B.

When the Secure Boot is on it gives an error like this ..

Error: bad shim signature.
Error: you need to load the kernel first.
Press any key to continue.

When I try to boot from the USB i made with your tarball method with Secure Boot turned off, it just sits on the loading screen forever. What I’d really like is a public link to ..

DGXOS-7.2.3-2025-10-04-06-28-28-arm64.iso

It is available to Enterprise Customers via the Download Center but not to registered devs or public customers. PLEASE put it up next to the tarball method you have, to at least give us another option to try. I’ve done chat support with 3-4 people and email with another 2 and they have all either said the ISO doesn’t exist or just point me back to steps that I already told them didn’t work for me. Somebody please point me to the DGXOS 7.2.3 ISO. Ideally, it would be on this page ..

@brian52 is DGXOS-7.2.3 working on a DGX Spark, or intended for Spark use? The latest FastOS release is:

NAME=“DGX SPARK FASTOS”
DATE=“2025-10-10T03:26:29+00:00”
VERSION=“1.91.51”
BUILD_TYPE=“customer”

The above information is from fastos-release.txt from the recovery archive for Spark.

Dell is providing Dell_Pro_Max_with_GB10_FCM1253_US_DGX_OS7_A01_Recovery_Image.iso at Support for Dell Pro Max with GB10 FCM1253 | Drivers & Downloads | Dell US . The image is for a GB10 device. Since the hardware is the same you could try the ISO.

Dell’s device is just Nvidia’s founder system board in a different case with a different logo!

Thank you, Elsaco .. I will give that a try. I’d very much prefer the official release, of course, with official support. NVIDIA says that 7.2.3 is for Spark on this page ..

@brian52 you’re correct ,sir! The ISO does provide Install DGX OS 7.2.3 for DGX Spark option. From grub.cfg:

}

It even offers the option to install a newer kernel. The device came with 6.11.0-1016-nvidia and there’s no new package when running apt update

Elsaco .. I wanted to update and let you know that the Dell ISO you pointed me to brought my Spark back to life. Thank you, thank you, I can’t tell you how frustrating it was to see the 7.2.3 ISO just sitting in the NVIDIA Enterprise Support area yet not be able to access and download it .. all while NVIDIA’s customer support agents kept telling me it doesn’t exist.

I approve of the publication of the ISO file referenced on the cited page.

I say this because, and you’ll laugh, I received my first DGX Spark the day before my birthday, and, in my excitement to finally set it up, I rushed to plug it in late one evening. While I remember the password I used perfectly, I typed it incorrectly in the darkness, and I managed to log in three or four times, but never quickly enough to change the password twice in a row…

EDIT: I providentially got it, twice, thanks god.

I wonder when you create the USB recovery drive, somehow it got corrupted.
The good thing about the recovery image, it only take 5 minutes to install.
The 7.2.3 DGX OS iso will take 40+ minutes.
