I notice that there are actually these two models. Apparently the S1070 can be connected to two workstations whereas the S1075 can only be connected to one. Do they both have two PCI Express 2.0 16x interface cards? What stops you putting both interfaces cards in the same workstation with a S1070 or vice versa?
S1075 has one interface card. Nothing stops you from connecting an S1070 to one PC, besides the two-slot requirement. You’ll get better bandwidth, in fact.
Okay, that makes sense. Thanks. I guess the advantage of the S1075 is that you can connect two to a single workstation! I have got to try that… :D
