We have developed our own processing board based on Jetson TX2 module and Xilinx Ultrascale FPGA for a scientific application. In fact, six prototypes are built. However, they do not have exactly the same revision of TX2, but they are different (three have the old module and three have the new module).
We found some problems in one of the prototypes, and going further into it, we found that the program compilation time in the new TX2 devices are higher than in the old ones (24 min. vs 21 min. respectively). Of course, the test has been done in the same conditions, with all TX2 running the same operative system and compiling the same code.
My questions are:
We distinguish them due to old modules have a sticker in one of the sides which is not present in the new modules. Is there other way to get more information about the version of TX2, which we are working with?
Do you have an explanation for the difference between compilation times?
Thank you very much,
