Difference command line and Desktop GUI for testing audio-out

Hello,

I tested Analog audio-out in command line and desktop GUI, but they are different. I tested in Jetson Orin Nano.

For command line testing, I run “speaker-test -D hw:APE,0 -c 2 -r 48000 -F S32_LE -t sine -f 500” and I can heard sound.
For desktop GUI testing, I run “Setting → Sound” and pressed “Test” button in “Output”. And I pressed “Front Left” and “Front Right” button, I can’t heard any sound.

I don’t edit any Device Tree, I just setting I2S and AUD_MCLK pinmux in command line.

How can I hearing sound in Desktop?

Thank you.

Sorry for the late response, have you managed to get issue resolved or still need the support? Thanks

Hello,

Before, I don’t know that default bit per sample in pulseaudio is 16bit.

So, when I changing bit per sample for DAC to 16bit, I heard analog audio-out sound in Desktop.

Thank you.
