Disabling the Plugin Manager

I saw in the forum groups about disabling the plugin manager if having trouble with camera or not using them.

If I simply remove the line:

include “cvb/tegra234-p3737-camera-modules.dtsi”

from the sources file …/hardware/nvidia/platform/t23x/concord/kernel-dts/tegra234-p3701-0000-p3737-0000.dts file and rebuild, does this disable the manager?

Thanks!

Hi,
Yes, it should disable it. You may also convert the dtb file back to dts, and check if the setting meets expectation. The in-use dtb file is set in

/boot/extlinux/extlinux.conf

Thanks. So the dtb file should match my newly compiled kernel files?
I saw in the extlinux.conf file, the dtb file was named with a ‘kernel_’ like 'kernel_ tegra234-p3701-0000-p3737-0000.dtb.

Where does this file come from? I did not see it after my kernel compile completed, only the tegra234-p3701-0000-p3737-0000.dtb file.

Thanks again.

@DaneLLL Do you have any help with the extlinux.conf file (mentioned above)?

I also filed a new topic about this in AGX Xavier section (since I have questions about both GPUs concerning this).

Thanks!
