Hello, I want to take two display output from Jetson Career board. I understand I can take one either from DP or HDMI. I want the other output to be in SDI output. Please can you suggest what are the ways to get the SDI output from the career board of the Jetson AGX orin.
There is no support for SDI on any Jetson.

That depends on 3rdparty device. We don’t actually validate any of such thing before.
Also, our PCIe won’t have display output. Only the DP or HDMI output on Jetson is able to do.
Hi Wayne, there is AJA part i.e HA5-12G which can convert HDMI to SDI output. But I also need one DP in parallel. So basically, I need two outputs. Will this work?
No, Orin AGX only has one display output.
With PCie as input and with some FPGA IC , can we get the SDI 12G output? You said PCie won’t have display output, does that mean the SDI output is not at all possible with PCies? Could you elaborate what thing do you want to do here? I really don’t know what PCIe + FPGA thing you want to design here.
You may clarify what do you want input to Jetson and what do you expect Jetson to output.

I want to display two 4k output in two monitor. 1) I am using DP as the output. 2) Here I want SDI 12g as output , now as u stated there can only be 1 output DP or HDMI, So I am thinking to use the PCIe slot and convert the data to SDI12G output.
No, what you are doing is not able to work. Our PCIe does not support to output video from display driver.

That card can convert PCIe to SDI. That is great. I have no doubt for that.
But the problem here is what data do you expect Jetson PCIe to output here? Your card needs data as input so that it could convert. But there is no data here.
My point here is Jetson PCIe has no any relation with Jetson display output. There is no graphic driver for that. You could connect any PCIe device on the Jetson PCIe controller.
But there is no output that PCIe will give out by default.

No, there is no such way.
Only DP output with MST hub can output two monitors. But it won’t convert thing to SDI.

No, only the display pin has the ability to output display. USB and PCIe cannot.
Hi Wayne, Thank you for the information. Can we connect a MST and get two DP output. These two DP output can they get the image at 4K at 60Fps? What are the drivers recommendation for it . Any authorised MST suggested?
Yes, that is the only way to get 2x 4k@60 DP output.
No extra driver is needed. You could try any MST hub for it.

- Can we connect tis DP output to FPGA and then get one 12G SDI output and also one DP output (image attached only DP output is given). FPGA will take care about the conversion from DP to 12G SDI. I just want to understand will out jetson will be able to communicate with these FPGA like the drivers etc.? or something else will be needed.
we didn’t validate any of this. Don’t guarantee it would work.
