Displayport with DVI-D to DP adapter not working on Jetson Xavier NX

Hello. I have a Jetson Xavier NX which works fine with HDMI display. I recently tried to connect the NX to a monitor with DVI-D input. I had to use a DVI-D to Displayport adapter. Therefore, I ended up having to use the displayport on the NX. But the monitor does not detect the input from the NX.

In a different thread, I saw that HDMI2VGA adapter is not guaranteed to work on the NX. Is this the same for DP2DVI-D in this scenario?

Yes, no adapter is guaranteed.
