Hello NVIDIA team,
I am developing SMILE 2.0, a custom Windows game engine, and would like
to evaluate DLSS 5 / 3D-Guided Neural Rendering on an RTX 5090.
Our current native renderer uses Direct3D 11, with Direct2D/DirectWrite
for UI and text. A bounded Direct3D 12 development path is possible
if the official integration requires it.
We downloaded and inspected the official Streamline 2.14.1 x64 package.
It declares kFeatureDLSS_NR = 1004, maps it to dlss_nr, and mentions
sl.dlss_nr in the changelog.
However, our inspection did not find the neural-rendering plugin
implementation, feature-specific header, or integration guide.
Could you clarify:
-
Where can a custom-engine developer obtain the authorized DLSS 5
neural-rendering development package and matching documentation? -
Is access currently restricted, and what is the application process?
-
Which graphics APIs and interoperability arrangements are supported?
-
What are the minimum driver/OS requirements and the runtime/model
redistribution and application-registration requirements?
Our test case is an existing animated battle scene in our engine,
not an Unreal Engine project.
We are specifically requesting DLSS 5 neural rendering, not Super
Resolution, Ray Reconstruction, or Frame Generation.
Thanks,
-Sin
