DLSS Not working with Unreal Engine 5.1.1 Update - crashing

Hello, i have updated plugin to 5.1.1 and still get instacrash. Any idea how to turn off nvidia DLSS in config or something like that?

Hello @fandax98 welcome to the discussion and the NVIDIA developer forums!

You disable DLSS by disabling the Plugin in the UE plugin manager. And/or remove the DLSS plugin directory.

But before you do drastic measures, others have seen the exact same issue that you describe and found out it seems to be because you have conflicting Upscalers enabled in Unreal Engine.

I donā€™t want to reiterate all details here, there is a thread in the Unreal forums: Crash DLSS and TSR - International - Epic Developer Community Forums

We also had one mention where a person could not fix it with the described solutions, but I am waiting for confirmation and that person to open a new forum thread here. But my suspicion is that it is rather a driver/dll mismatch.

One important note:
When updating the plugin, make sure to first disable the plugin, remove it completely and replace it with and enable the new version. We have seen issues with simply overwriting the existing directory.

Thanks for guidence and your time, i just realized that Iā€™m using FXAA on maximum performance, it eat performance but since i bought RTX4090 im ok now :D . TSA and TAA makes my media plane (real camera source from greenscreen studio) blurry and i didnt figure out how to bypass AA on that video layer so i cant use DLSS.

But thanks tho
