DO I NEED A CARRIER WITH NVIDIA TX2 DEV KIT?

I need to have POE + ports to access my security cameras - 5 of them. We have a a POE hub (LTS) in place which is not sold by Nvidia, will that work fine? The current hub has 5 ports for POE. Can I hook up the network cable from the TX2 computer to the hub? Would that work? Need assistance asap on a deadline…

The devkit comes with a mini-ITX reference carrier board (open-source design). It includes a gigabit ethernet port, so yes you could connect the TX2 to your PoE switch. If you need more ethernet ports, the devkit includes a PCIe x4 slot that you could populate with a NIC card.

Hi again, I forgot that you may also be interested in ConnectTech Cogswell carrier, it comes with 5x GbE ports for gigabit machine vision cameras.
