Does cuda 5.0 supports Ubuntu 10.04 ?

Hi,
I am trying to install cuda_5.0.35_linux_64_ubuntu10.04-1.run driver on Tesla c2075 on Ubuntu 10.04 64 bit but not able to install.

  1. After installing Driver for Linux-x86_64 304.54 from cuda 5.0 package I am not able open Monitor settings through NVIDIA X Server Settings menu (Pls refer screen shot 1 & 2)

  2. If I install Driver (NVIDIA-Linux-x86_64-295.53) it works fine (able to open Monitor settings through NVIDIA X Server Settings menu) and cuda tool kit (cudatoolkit_4.0.17_linux_64_ubuntu10.04) and gpu computing (gpucomputingsdk_4.0.17_linux) also works fine

My question is [url]does cuda 5.0 supports Ubuntu 10.04 ?

Please let me know how to resolve this issue

According to the CUDA 5.0 Release notes at

Ubuntu 10.04 is supported by CUDA 5.0. Sorry, I don’t have insight into the driver issue you are experiencing.
