Does Isaac SDK work for outdoor navigation?
Isaac SDK is currently targeted at indoor logistics/navigation.
But indoor navigation doesnt really need a 3D lidar right?
Indoor navigation especially in an environment where there are moving objects like humans or other robots etc. ( For e.g. a warehouse or a large complex like an office building or an airport) can benefit from 3D lidar. Besides, we are working on extending the stack to outdoor navigation as well.
Can we use stereo cameras with stereo dnn to get the point cloud data instead of LIDAR.
For outdoor navigation, it will be amazing to see google maps/ street view and earth integration.
