does multiple Infiniband switch adds up the latency between CPU nodes?

Hi Mellanox Support,

I would like to check if I use two IB switch to connect two server nodes(the two IB switch sits in-between0. does it add more latency comparing to use one IB switch?

for example, one switch has latency of 200ns; does two switch means latency of 400ns?
