does OFED Windows software(WinOF) support TCP/IP etc. protocol?

Hi Mellanox support,

I installed ConnectX-3 card in Windows Server 2012 R2. both card configured to Ethernet port mode. I am able to run nd_rping to the peer side.

However I am not able to run the native utility “ping” from windows os to ping the peer side of IB card(ethernet port).

I would like to check does the WinOF software stack support the normal TCP/IP protocol? how to configure the cards to support TCP/IP, FTP etc. protocol in Windows server?

Hi Mei,

Yes, WinOF software stack support the normal TCP/IP protocol.

What version of WinOF have you installed?

Are the servers connected back to back or are they connected to switches?

(If they are connected to switches, try to ping in a b2b connection).

Do the interfaces belong to a Vlan?
