Does the Quadro 4000 have ECC?
The Quadro 4000’s latest certified driver for Maya 2012-64bit is 270.51
With this installed the Nvidia Control Panel shows “Change ECC State”.
So I went ahead an enabled it…
It shows 1720mb available after restart… as though it has allocated the 12.5% to ECC
I decided to try the latest driver (275.89), which does not show “Change ECC State” in the Nvidia Control Panel;
and now I’m here asking if I have allocated 12.5% of my dedicated memory to a feature my card doesn’t support External Image.
