We have 4 client use 1G RJ45, Can use 1G base-t on SN2140 ?

In general yes. Some modules on the cheaper side may not be burnt in accordance to the SFF specification and may not work. But the switch does support BaseT SFP modules.

What is the power consumption of those modules?

  • If 2.5W it can be used in ports 1,2 or 47,48.
  • Otherwise it can be used in all other SFP ports which support 1.5W.
