Does use one imx219 sensor is must need the Multi-channel I2C Switch？at jetson TX1 L4T R28.1

I find the imx274 and imx185 sensor dtsi file have Multi-channel I2C Switch chip is tca9546.
in Jetson TX1 and L4T R28.1,if I only use one imx219 sensor,is it must need the Multi-channel I2C Switch？
