Does using SPE's SPI2 affect the original function of these pins in the Orin series?

As the question posed in Signal Processing Engine (SPE) SPI sample uses SPI2. Jetson Orin Nano Dev Kit J2 pins are used for other purposes, does it affect the original wifi/bluetooth functionality in the Orin nano devkit if SPE’s SPI2 is used. I also observed that in the AGX Orin devkit, if SPI2 is used does it affect the use of the CSI camera (the SPI2 pins originally functioned as camera interrupt lines)?

Hello,
You question is definitely related to hardware design.
SPI2 pins are multi-function pins. They can act as SPI function or GPIO.
In Orin AGX, all 4 SPI2 pins are configured as GPIO by default.

E61 SPI2_CLK SPI2_SCK GP06_SPI2_CLK 50k pd GPIO3_PCC.00
D62 SPI2_MISO SPI2_MISO GP07_SPI2_MISO 50k pd GPIO3_PCC.01
F60 SPI2_MOSI SPI2_MOSI GP08_SPI2_MOSI 50k pd GPIO3_PCC.02
D60 SPI2_CS0_N SPI2_CS0 GP09_SPI2_CS_N 50k z GPIO3_PCC.03

You can update the pinmux config as “rt-aux-cpu-demo-fsp/doc/spi-app.md” shows.

It’s true that if SPI2 pins are occupied as other GPIO controls, re-configuring them as SPI2 pins may corrupt the function.

Back to your question, it depends on your hardware design and whether camera interrupt is used.
