Double precision performance 260 series vs. 460

Hi guys,

I need your advice on this issue:
I want to buy a new card which I intend to use to perform heavy double-precision calculations. I am new to CUDA and NVIDIA cards in general, and I couldn’t decide which series would better fit my needs: 260 or 460. I got too confused regarding the number of double-precision ALUs per card and the relative number FLOPs they can perform with all these models. Is there a summary of this somewhere?

To be more specific, I noticed that the prices of 285 and 465 are pretty much the same, so this is the main dilemma.

And just to make sure, 285 is better than 260 core 216 (in almost every parameter), right?

Thanks! :-)
