I would like to know if the reported DRAM bandwidth (officially published number) is for read or write transactions? Or max(read,write)? Or sum(read,write)?
For example, for 3080, the peak memory bandwidth is calculated by
9501 (memory MHz) * 320 (bus width) * 2 (DDR) / 8 = 760GB/s
I am talking about dram__bytes_read.sum.per_second and dram__bytes_write.sum.per_second metrics. Any thoughts on that?
