I have flashed and installed DRIVE 5.2.0, but the OEM-config screen hasn’t shown up after configuring minicom on the Host PC. I have configured it following the instructions here:
https://docs.nvidia.com/drive/drive-os-5.2.6.0L/drive-os/index.html#page/DRIVE_OS_Linux_SDK_NGC_Development_Guide/MCU%20Setup%20and%20Configuration/mcu_uart.html#wwpID0EZHA

I have also tried running sudo minicom –D /dev/ttyUSB2 inside the minicom window but when prompted for the tegra-ubuntu login: the default user/passwords of ubuntu/ubuntu and nvidia/nvidia do not work. Any suggestions for how to proceed?

Dear @atseng,
The documentation is referring to DRIVE OS 5.2.6 and where as you mentioned DRIVE OS 5.2.0 in description. If it is DRIVE OS 5.2.0, please see
https://docs.nvidia.com/drive/drive-os-5.2.0.0L/drive-qsg-dz/install-with-sdkm-drive/index.html

Aslo, could you re check flashing the target and share the latest logs for investigation

Have reflashed the target with 5.2.0 and attached the logs. Also, meant to attach this link: https://docs.nvidia.com/drive/drive-os-5.2.0.0L/drive-os/index.html#page/DRIVE_OS_Linux_SDK_Development_Guide/MCU%20Setup%20and%20Configuration/mcu_uart.html#

After reflashing, the issue remains the same with the OEM-config not popping up and the tegra-ubuntu login in the minicom not working as well.
Hope that helps!

Hi, I am still having issues with this. Any guidance?

Dear @atseng,
This is strange. The logs indicate flashing DRIVE OS 5.2.0 is complete. Is it possible to upgrade to latest release DRIVE OS 5.2.6?

Hi, @atseng
I haven’t encountered this issue. nvidia/nvidia should work if you correctly set the password as “nvidia” during the installation via SDK Manager.

I actually managed to fix my issue by uninstalling 5.2.0, reflashing 10.0 to the AGX, then installing/flashing 5.2.0 again. Kinda odd, but thanks for your help!
