After updating my gentoo, Xorg refuses to start with the trusty configuration I’ve spent ages on to scrap together, considering how hard it is to bypass EDID and such on NVIDIA drivers. But after years of this config working, now it’s broken with the 535.98 update. Anyone know why and how to fix it?
I used to have 525.125 which worked very well except for OpenGL glitches in XComposite.
Now on 535.98, X won’t start at all, or I have to sacrifice my config and run at 60 Hz :(
My GPU is GTX 750 MSI with only 1 GB VRAM :) - am I the only one running a 10 year old GPU?
