Driver for HDMI to CSI converter

Hi all,
I have a HDMI to CSI-2 convertor board running the TC358743XBG controller that I would like to interface with the Jetson Xavier NX running Jetpack 5.1.0 and L4T 35.2.1
I have seen other forum posts regarding this, but I am finding it hard to understand the jargon used in the thread. Please help as I am very new to compiling drivers, and this is my first attempt at it.
