In VULKAN programming, Originally I was using 2 renderpasses. One was a renderpass for the model and one was a renderpass for the gui. The two renderpasses were rendering using one swapchain framebuffer in order. At this time, the initialLayout of the renderpass attachment descriptor used VK_IMAGE_LAYOUT_UNDEFINED for both renderpasses, and VK_IMAGE_LAYOUT_PRESENT_SRC_KHR for finalLayout. This was normal rendering on most devices. However, the moment I updated to nvidia geforce driver 451.67, At the start of the second renderpass, the result of the first renderpass turned black screen.
I thought the problem was that the initial Layout of the second renderpass was VK_IMAGE_LAYOUT_UNDEFINED.
What is the exact problem of VK_IMAGE_LAYOUT_UNDEFINED?
