Driver reg-fixed-sync-voltage requests probe deferral

Hello,

I have a custom carrier board for TX1 that I am using. Whenever I try to load any SPI drivers I see the following msgs in dmesg output.

Using the same TX1 on the Jetson carrier board, loading the same SPI driver I don’t see this. I’m guessing it’s something to do with the way the carrier board powers the TX1. Any ideas what the error is indicating?

The TX1 doesn’t misbehave in any manner, and things seem to be working fine.

Hi notthetup
Suppose this customize carry board didn’t design a PMIC to control the power on/off. If the power are always supply that could be a warning message and harmless.

OK. I searched a bit more. Maybe it’s a USB3 thing? I know the carrier board doesn’t support USB3.

Hi notthetup
Do you still have problem with this topic?

I’m still having this issue. In fact this message is occurring in kern.log and syslog something like 500 times per second, causing syslog and kern.log to produce around 700MB/hour (duplicated in syslog and kern.log). I’ve set up logrotate to process every hour but I still frequently get disk full errors and I’m taking a performance hit.

We have 4 USB3.0 Point Grey Blackfly cameras connected via a power USB3 hub. We’re using the Connecttech Astro carrier board with the stock nvidia Jetpack 2.3, but I’ve seen the same behavior with JP 3.0. We’re seeing identical behavior on 4 different identical setups.

@zacwite
Could you try the JetPack3.1 still have the same issue?

I tried installing Jetpack 3.1 (L4T 28.1) and on first look that seems to have gotten rid of the voltage warnings, but I’ll continue to monitor things over the next few days.

Hi everyone.

I have success connect my hitachi camera via USB3.0 on jetsontx1 developement kit.
I can get video, control camera with uart via USB3.0 port.
But when i tried to use J100 carrier boards, there’s a bunch of error appear in dmesg output.
Camera still controlled with uart but video was not received.

Please help me to solve this. I’m using JetsonTX1 on J100 carrier board with Jetpack 3.0 installed.

Hi haihoangsoftware,

Have you contacted with Auvidea?
Or you could try to update with their latest firmware to see if the problem still existing?
https://auvidea.com/firmware/

Thanks

I have tried both firmwares 2.2 and 2.3 in https://auvidea.com/firmware/ in both L4T24 and L4T28 and I still have the same problem. Does anyone found the solution to the problem? I am using the carrier board J120.
