Driver version 550.76 does not accept more than 75Hz in external screens + Wayland (bug from 530.30 is back)

I am facing this issue on Fedora 39/40 after updating NVidia drivers (Gnome + Wayland).
I believe this is the same as Can't boot into KDE WAYLAND session with 530.30..02 - #47 by Hexality which was fixed a few versions ago and mentioned in that thread.

I created a new topic because that was supposed to be solved.
Is anyone else having the same problems?

$> modinfo -F version nvidia

$> lspci | grep -i nvidia | grep VGA
01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: NVIDIA Corporation AD106M [GeForce RTX 4070 Max-Q / Mobile] (rev a1)

If you are having the same issue as me, upgrading the driver version to 550.78 should fix it.
Unfortunately, it led to issues with suspend in my case, but this is another issue also in discussion in these forums.
