Hi all,
Been told to seek help here by the Nvidia customer care guys. this is my problem and what I initially asked them:
Current and previous Nvidia drivers do not support my monitor a (IIYAMA Iiyama ProLite E2200WS). is there a way to force my graphic card to output at 1680x1050 (native resolution) or another simple solution.
If I use the Nvidia driver at present the Computer boots to a black screen. the only way to remedy this is to connect the PC up to my TV (The drivers work perfectly then!!!) I am currently using the Nouveau open source driver, which works but is buggy for gaming.
GTX650 on Ubuntu 14.04lts
