just wondering if there is a list anywhere that has which shows the various CUDA versions and which was the first driver to support them. I guess I could trawl each of the CUDA toolkit release pages and see what driver is recommended, but was hoping for a single page :)
I had bit of a hunt through the CUDA developer pages, but either i’m mangling my query keywords or there isn’t a nice list on a single page.
on a seperate topic (and probably another forum) but is there any nice end user tools that show a ‘live’ represenation of video memory usage - something akin to ‘top’ but for GPU and video memory
The best I ahve that the moment is to use nvidia-smi tool and grepping the lines I’m interested in, but thats quite driver and hardward dependant with quite different results depending on which mix you have (at least we have a fleet of several hundred workstations with quadro FX3500 through to Q5000s and drivers from 185.x through to 280.x and the information is quite different using the smi tool.)
it’d be great to see which apps are using video memory, and the video cache as well - something that you can’t see with nvidia-smi tool (as far as I’m aware)
