eGPU graphics driver for CUDA with Isaac Gym

Thanks for your answer, that’s exactly what I was looking for.

Unfortunately the setup stopped working today: I attached the eGPU to the second Thunderbolt 4 port of the laptop (I thought it made no difference) and the system failed to boot (black screen and error messages). I then attached it to the first one again, rebooted and since then I cannot get the external monitor to work (which is connected to the eGPU). I tried rebooting and removing/adding the eGPU config and xorg config files with no success, I also tried xrandr --setprovideroutputsource NVIDIA-G0 NVIDIA-0 && xrandr --auto. The eGPU is connected though and I can use CUDA, but I also need the a graphical output.

Thank you in advance for your help.

If you connect it to another TB port, the gpu will get a different pci-busid so that doesn’t match the config file.
The system now is working normally but there’s no monitor detected, all ports show “disconnected”. Broken hdmi/dp cable or monitor?
