Can I connect eMMC 4.x device in 4 bit operation by using SDMMC1 or SDMMC3 interface of Tegra(Jetson TX1)?
I want to remove the removable SD card and plan to use eMMC device on Jetson TX1 carrier board.
Please suggest/respond quickly
No, SDMMC1 and SDMMC3 controllers don’t support eMMC.

No, please do not do that, only SDIO or SD card supported on the ports.
Hi Trumany, we have lot of field issues with removable SD cards on the existing carrier board in our TX1 based system. Just want to understand what is the limitation/corner cases will not work if I use eMMMC device on SDMMC1 or SDMMC3 on newly designing carrier board?
Interface wise all signals required for eMMC(4-bit) mode are available at TX1 module board to board connectors.
