Error compiling boost library

Hello,

I have a trial license of the windows c++ compiler to see if it can be used to compile my application. My application uses three libraries from the boost libraries (system, thread, and filesystem) so I need to compile the library.

When I try to compile the library the bootstrap.sh script fails with the following error:

PCG-F-0206-Can’t find include file sys/file.h <.\jam.h: 404>

Does anyone have any experience compiling boost with pgcc?

I am working the with most recent boost release. 1.45.0

Thanks,

Jeff

You will have better luck with Boost on a Linux system. Right now, Windows pgCC
is using an older form of exception handling that conflicts with Boost signal handling.
We do have plans to convert to gcc style exception handling on Windows.
