Error Flashing Jetson TX2: target_image Command Terminated with Error

Hello NVIDIA community,

I’m encountering an issue while attempting to flash my Jetson TX2 device. I followed the flashing process using [Flashing Software Name and Version], but I encountered the following error:

ERROR: File System and OS - target_image: command terminated with error
SUMMARY: Flash Jetson TX2 - flash: Depends on failed component

Are you with TX2 devkit, and with the native Ubuntu 18.04 host PC?
Which command you ran?

Please dump the full log here.

log (5.63 KB)

No, this is not what we need.
SDK Manager can export the full log as a zip file, and please do that.

Also, is it an DevKit or a third-party carrier board?
VM or a native Ubuntu PC?

It is Nvidia Jetson TX2

You are not providing any useful information here…
We cannot further debug without the full log from SDK Manager.

Also, if you don’t know what I’m talking about with DevKits/third-party boards, just take a picture of the device you are using.

How about this?

Native Ubuntu sir

Can you just answer all the questions but not just one-by-one?
Again, we need log here.

Dear sir,

Mainly I have lost my root user password of my TX2 device, so I need to flash my device. While creating the img file of the system, it shows the error, I have attached a zip file which is exported log from SDK manager. My host machine is native UBUNTU 16.04.

Hi,

are you downloading the BSP into some portable drives?

Using rootfs directory of: /media/tanvir/Work/nvidia/JetPack_4.6.2_Linux_JETSON_TX2_TARGETS/Linux_for_Tegra/rootfs

Consult the Development Guide for instructions on
extracting and flashing your device.

Please set the download path inside the disk where the Ubuntu system is installed, so it’s guaranteed that you have the root permission there.

OK, I will try with your instructions, then I will inform you sir.

Hi, I want to install Anaconda in my Jetson TX2. Can you help me?
