Hello, When I try to open nvidia-settings after I set prime-select to intel. nvidia-settings is blank and I get this in my terminal.
ERROR: NVIDIA driver is not loaded

I have nvidia-driver-495 installed on Zorin 16.
nvidia-settings opens fine when prime-select is set to nvidia.
The purpose of prime-select intel is to turn off the nvidia gpu. For obvious reasons, you can’t query a device which is turned off.
Before I updated Nvidia packages, Nvidia settings would normally open on prime-select on intel. There were not a lot of options, but it would allow me to reenable the GPU.
Then you were using the patched ubuntu version of nvidia-settings before, now you have the original nvidia one. How did you upgrade drivers?
I used the built in software updater on Zorin.
Then maybe ask in the Zorin forums if they have replaced the ubuntu repo with their own repo that doesn’t include the patched version.
