Error: nvidia-x11-drv conflicts with 1:xorg-x11-drv-nvidia-340.29-1.el6.x86_64

Hi,
I am encountering this problem when installing CUDA6.5
My guess is that the driver I am using has a conflict with that used in CUDA6.5
And the specific error is :
nvidia-x11-drv-340.46-1.el6.elrepo.x86_64 conflicts xorg-x11-drv-nvidia
Will the driver in CUDA replace the older one? Or how can I change the original one?
Could someone help me with that? I would really appreciate.

Sorry, I forgot to mention that the system I’m using is centos

I have worked this out. I simply uninstall nvidia-x11-drv-340.32-1.el6.elrepo.x86_64. But I still could not understand, if my computer is using version 340.32, why is there an error related with version 340.46?
