我在orin nx jp5.1.2上编译自己的程序后,启动后执行以下命令会报这样的错,请问这是哪方面的原因?

Linux_for_Tegra是在官网下载的内容(Jetson_Linux_R35.4.1_aarch64.tbz2)
只有文件系统是在desktop基础上增加了一些环境依赖

麻煩至少先確定用default BSP和kernel會不會有這樣的問題

我做了以下测试
使用Jetson_Linux_R35.4.1_aarch64.tbz2解压后进行编译。
源码使用的是kernel_src.tbz2解压得到的。
经过编译后将kernel_out/arch/arm64/boot/Image替换到设备中可以读取到正确的slot信息并且可以正常切换。如果我加上rt补丁就会出现之前的错误,这是rt本身不支持ab分区吗?

以下是我的执行步骤

1.下载Tegra_Linux_Sample-Root-Filesystem_R35.4.1_aarch64.tbz2解压
2.cd Linux_for_Tegra/source
tar -xjf /home/zme/work/robot/orin_jetpack/public_sources/Linux_for_Tegra/source/public/kernel_src.tbz2

我們的文件裡應該很清楚的有寫這一步 但是我看你的指令只有裝kernel image

還有你根本連sudo ./apply_binaries.sh都沒做 你確定這樣可以燒 可以開機?

我之前的系统都执行过的,他会在Linux_for_Tegra/rootfs/usr/lib/modules/5.10.120-rt70-tegra/kernel/下安装许多的ko文件,我尝试将之前的的系统rt补丁去掉也会正常显示slot信息。

因为我只使用default的Linux_for_Tegra和kernel-5.10用来生成kernel Image进行了测试,因此这里没有文件系统相关的操作。我们完整的工程构建是包含了这一步的

我在default的BSP做完测试后发现更改Image能够不报错,因此在我们实际的工程中替换了Image,也能够正常查看slot信息。这里的之前的系统就是我们实际使用的工程。
我稍后测试下35.5是否会有相同情况

我试了下使用5.1.3的rt patch,似乎也是有问题的

你可不可以試試看不用RT kernel 只是改kernel suffix的話會不會有一樣的問題
把nvbuild.sh裡的LOCALVERSION="-tegra"改掉

這是upstream Linux kernel的問題

nvbootctrl dump-slots-info會失敗是因為efivarfs沒有被mount起來 而和bootloader有關的資訊都存在efivarfs裡面
會mount不起來是因為EFI相關的函式載入時間太久 所以在kernel裡預設被關掉
可以在kernel cmdline裡加上efi=runtime把它手動開起來

我不確定具體是哪一版,但是這個設定在後面版本的kernel又被打開了,所以36.3上沒有這個問題

It’s an issue in the upstream Linux kernel.

nvbootctrl dump-slots-infofails because efivarfs is not mounted, and all bootloader information that nvbootctrl needs is stored in efivarfs.
efivarfs is not mounted because kernel developers think that these EFI related functions take too long to initialize, not meeting the real time standards, so they are simply disabled.
You can add efi=runtime to kernel cmdline, as specified in /boot/extlinux/extlinux.conf to manually enable it.

This config is enabled again in later kernel versions, so you don’t need this on 36.3.

重启设备后为何cat /proc/cmdline没有增加efi=runtime

不是改device tree…
麻煩修改/boot/extlinux/extlinux.conf 加在APPEND ${cbootargs}那一行後面
