We are using NVENC with H264 and experiencing major artifacts around scene cuts in certain test sequences. So our source is displaying scene A and then a hard cut to scene B. But the resulting video will go something like ABBBABBB and and various similar combinations. Any ideas? We are using CBR.
Also worth noting we see the artifacts in VLC and Chrome (both ffmpeg based?). But we do not see them in Windows Media Player or Firefox.
Are u using ffmpeg ?
Can you please confirm if you are using FFMPEG and also which GPU and version of NVIDIA driver. It’s best to verify on the latest driver. Also if possible can you share a link to a video or sequence of images showing the issue?
