# External monitor works only on lower resolutions in 560+Wayland+Plasma6

Hello  
After upgrading Kubuntu to version 24.10 (Kernel 6.11 + Wayland + Plasma 6) my external monitor stops showing any output, however it pretending to be detected

The resolution which is works: 3840x1080, but the monitor is capable to show 5120x1440  
But when I switch to the resolution I have a black screen  
all modeset/fbset is set to 1, gpu fw turned off. w/o this its not possible to even detect the monitor  
the driver version is 560, system is intel+nvidia in hybrid mode. primary gpu set to nvidia  
Also I’ve tried to switch to x11 but got same result  
any ideas, how to fix this?

The issue is fixed by changing the docking station from Lenovo TB4 to Satechi TB4  
I cannot explain it because it worked in Kubuntu 24.04/X11 before
