Hello,
I’m generating DXT1 files (1-bit alpha) from PNG images with transparency. The original color for the transparency is black.
For some edge pixels that are dark (but not pure black), I get extra pixels in the DDS files.
These images hopefully illustrate the problem.
I filled the transparency with white to display these clearly.
The original images are here: http://www.celestialmuse.org/pangloss/temp/png-dds_problem.zip
I’ve had this problem with both the command line program and the photoshop plugin. These examples were created with the latest version of the plugin.
I used various versions of these programs over the years, but the problem always seems to occur.
Are there any settings that I can change to eliminate this?
Thanks for any assistance.
