Extremely glitchy graphics with DLSS 3.7 plugin in shipping build from UE 5.4.2 game

This issue is rare but quite annoying. I could experience it both with a 5070 and a 2080ti, especially on Stalker 2 based on UE 5.1. I could reproduce it in specific places, looking at specific directions. Which makes me think it is an edge case scenario with a stockpile of postprocess effects on frustum.

Note that the HUD is never affected by the collapse of upscaling.

Note that the use of DLAA instead of upscaling is an effective workaround.

I could also trigger it by using Ray Reconstruction and DLSS upscaling on 2080ti. But the graphic issue does not flicker in that case.

Is probably a UE 5 issue although i could not find any documentation or mention of it on UE 5 forum.

Try Enable DLSS Override “On” + DLSS Forced Preset Letter “latest“ - it helped me. I used nvidiaProfileInspector, but new NVIDIA App had that too.

@MarkusHoHo Bump. Come on, buddy, do your job. I know Nvidia hates to support their products in a meaningful way, but at least try to do something.

What I can share on the issue:

Internal investigations did not lead to a systemic fix. Repro rates where very low and not deterministic, which very likely points to some race condition connected to when scaling ratios are changed or applied within the game code.

Please stop bumping this thread. If you have a 100% repro sample application you can share please open a new topic.
