I get “Failed to allocate NvKmsKapiDevice” during boot on Ubuntu 18.
I have tested the same pc hardware setup with GeForce RTX 2080 Ti and Nvidia driver 460.32.03 to make sure the PC , bios and power supply are OK.
When I install Nvidia Geforce RTX 3080 (GV-N3080Gaming OC-10GD rev.2.0) on the same PC the driver can not communicate with the Card. I have checked other nvidia drivers including 510.54 and 470.103.01 and all of them no success.
Any Ideas?
