Failed to install 3.0r4 on Mac OS X

Any ideas? I’m running on a 2012 mac mini, Yosemite 10.10.1

First sorry for the inconvenience that has taken to you. From the log you attached, seems that you failed at the beginning of launching TADP. Could you please provide me some more details about the issue?

  1. Did you launch TADP and see the Setup window pop up?
  2. Could you please send me the screenshot for the error?

I launch TADP.

The TADP installer on MAC has a dependency on Java 7 runtime.
Download and install the java 7 runtime at the below link and relaunch the TADP installer from the mounted dmg.

I have java version “1.8.0_31”

I suppose that was the issue.

I ended up installing the android dev tools myself and it is working for me, so I won’t be downgrading my java runtime to verify.
