Falcor initial memory usage size

In debug mode, my toy game engine uses about 3MB when not using Falcor. When I create a Falcor renderer, is uses about 2.2GB, without loading any scenes. My PC has 16GB of RAM.

Is this expected, or is it something that I should worry about? If it is expected, is it possible to tell Falcor to pre-allocate a smaller amount of memory?

I’m seeing 95MB for samples that don’t load a scene. Falcor doesn’t pre-allocate memory unless you ask him to.
