In our company we have to make a decision of writing our own rendering “engine”. Our application will be rendering scene with various objects in real-time. objects (loaded at start time) may be put (or remove) in the scene and moved around, change the texture , lightning…
The amount of work is impressive, so we decided to have a look at Falcor.
However we need Windows, Mac (maybe Linux) support. At this moment looks like only windows is supported. The questions are :
- Can we start using Falcor and expect a support for Mac in the next 2 years?
- Is Falcor suitable for something bigger than a prototype?
