FCC CERTIFICATION FOR FINAL PRODUCT WITH TX2

hi,

we have developed a custom carrier board with TX2 and have planned to do FCC for the end product. we have used the same antenna and cable used in the TX2 evalkit as suggested in the document “TX2 wireless compliance guide”
we have consulted certified test lab for perfroming the fcc testing, they have asked for options to select channels in the wifi module for the spurious emission testing and power testing of the wifi antenna. can you please clarify by below concerns,

  1. since we have used same antenna and cable and not altered any hardware in TX2, still do we need to do spurious emission and antenna power measurement for FCC?

  2. if we need to do spurious emission, our test lab asked us to select individual channel in wifi to perform the test, can nvidia support the firmware to select the individual channel for the test?

Hi sathiyanarayanan.l,

We cannot confirm all because it is impossible to confirm your end product full compliance just with a few information. Usually, you need EMC/Safety and spurious emission verification test at certified lab even with same type and less gain antenna, please refer to CERTIFICATION ACTIONS REQUIRED BY COUNTRY section.
