Dear NVIDIA Team,
I would like to request the addition of a DLDSR 4.00x scaling option (rendering at 3840×2160 and downsampling to 1920×1080) to the current DLDSR feature set.
The existing DLDSR factors (1.78× and 2.25×) are helpful, but they do not match the visual clarity and sharpness of legacy DSR at 4×. Despite being marketed as an improvement, the current DLDSR modes fall short of that level of quality.
Many users (myself included) are seeking DLDSR x4 for global use across applications, with the benefit of AI-enhanced image quality, but at a much higher native rendering resolution than 2.25x.
As DLDSR already leverages Tensor Cores and deep learning, we believe implementing this should be technically feasible, and would greatly benefit users seeking premium image quality on 1080p displays.
Please consider adding this as an experimental or optional mode in a future driver.
Thank you for your amazing work, and for listening to the community!
Best regards,
Umut E.
