Alot of work appears to have been done with respect to financial quantitative analysis on GPU’s but I am surprised not to have seen more work done with the technical analysis side of things. It seems to me that GPU’s can offer alot in this field as it is inherently a graphical subject. Anyway I have been working on some GPU based indicators, see the attached for one example of what I call a support and resistance map. For those of you not in the know support and resistance are with respect to a share price or currency so this attempts to graphically show where that price support and resistance are.
