I am using adobe flash 64bit with Firefox 17 and driver 304.64 videos play fine while with 310.19 they may play a frame here and there but usually not. I tried disabling hw accel of flash to no help. Is anyone else having problems?
Same problem here (openSUSE 12.2 x86_64 and nVidia 310.19), but only with Firefox 17; Google Chrome works perfectly.
So, I think it’s a bug in Firefox 17.
Didn’t connect it to Firefox 17. Still could be a bug in the driver. Chrome uses a much newer version of flash than Firefox. Adobe discontinued the Firefox version.
Thanks for info.
You are right: Firefox uses Flash 11.2.x and Chrome uses 11.5.x.
But, at least in my case, Firefox 16 does not have that problem.
Roll back to Adobe Flash 11.1 - it always works.
In case someone has troubles finding or downloading it, you can download it from here. (32bit and 64bit versions included).

I wouldn’t use 11.1, it’s full of known security holes. Adobe still maintains 10.3, maybe that one will work better than 11.2 - http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/distribution3.html
New versions of 10.3 and 11.2 were released literally yesterday, fixing a new batch of security issues.
That’s odd. I’m using the newest Flash (released yesterday) with Firefox 17.0.1 in Slackware64 14.0. I have had no problems with 310.xx or 313.xx and Flash videos. Is this a particular video or every Flash video?
This problem occurs with YouTube videos embedded on other sites.
