Environment: Gentoo Linux amd64, 325.08 drivers, 3.9.x kernel, xorg-sever 1.14.2, gnome-shell 3.6.2
Video card: Geforce GTS 250 (G92)
Symptoms: all text entry fields (terminal emulators like xterm and gnome-terminal-3.6, text editors like gvim, gedit-3.6 and kate-4.10, path entry fields in file open/save dialogs, etc.) exhibit multi-second redraw latencies: you type something, and it appears 2-3 seconds later.
Similarly, GUI elements like menus, dialogs, etc. are visibly slow to redraw after clicking or mousing over.
This redraw issue is affecting applications written in any toolkit, but GTK3-based programs like gedit and gnome-terminal seem to be affect the worst.
Downgrading to 319.32 drivers fixes the issue.
