Flash only DTBs on Xavier NX module

In NVIDIA Jetson Linux Driver Package Software Features : Flashing and Booting the Target Device | NVIDIA Docs, it give example to flash DTBs only on NANO board. I expect it will work for eMMC version of NX module. But after run:

sudo ./flash.sh -k DTB jetson-xavier-nx-devkit-emmc mmcblk0p1

it shows:

Error: Return value 13
Command tegradevflash_v2 --write DTB 1_kernel_tegra194-p3668-all-p3509-0000_sigheader.dtb.encrypt
Failed to flash/read t186ref.

Why?

hello diverger,

the partition name differs, please flash with kernel-dtb partition.
note, you may also include -r options to skip building system.img and reuse the existing one.

please see also CBoot session, there’s [Kernel Boot Sequence Using extlinux.conf].
you may have an alternative way to loads the kernel-dtb binary file from FDT entry.
